Security
October CMS provides many default permissions to restrict user access only to areas of the administration area for which they are approved.
It is well tested and very secure.
Posts builds upon this by adding over 20 additional permission levels so that users who are permitted to access the plugin can be restricted within it.
This makes it really simple, for example, to create a user who can login to write posts without being able to publish them.
The same user may only be able to view the post after publishing but be unable to edit, unpublish or delete the post.
You can be as creative as necessary when defining user permissions.
